Goldies is downtown Hamilton's counter for fast food worth slowing down for. Burgers smashed to order, chicken fried loud and crisp, fries done all the ways — with the sauces, seasonings and sweets made in-house, every day.

Owner & Chef
Joel Soares has spent over 15 years in Hamilton kitchens — fine dining at Quatrefoil, stints at Aberdeen Tavern and Bread Bar, and co-founding Cowabunga Pizza, now home to the best cheese slice in the world. Goldies is Joel doing it his own way: studying the smash burger until he had it exactly right, making the buns, pickles and sauces in house every day, and keeping it fast, honest and affordable.
